Caunce O'Hara & Co Ltd wins General Broker of the Year 2009/10

We are delighted to announce that the Insurance Institute of Manchester has awarded Caunce O'Hara & Co Ltd the title of General Insurance Broker of the Year 2009/10.
At a glittering award ceremony held at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester on 24th September 2009 the judges said the following:-
- The three finalists all put forward outstanding entries, causing difficulties for the judges.
The judges said the following about the winner
- From a scratch start in 1995, this company have shown year on year growth at a phenomenal rate.
- They have actively encouraged their younger members to sit professional examinations, using sponsorship and cash bonuses to aid them.
- Each member of staff has their own CPD plan, are encouraged to attend the Insurance Institute's lecture programme and utilise the CII's Broker Assess facility.
- This company have a range of online insurance products for a range of policies, enabling the customer to obtain quotations and cover online and allowing access by the customer to their records 24/7. As a result they now have 15,000 online clients.
- They have their own dedicated Claims Team and success or failure is monitored with a satisfaction questionnaire.
- They also have an out of hours helpline, with contact to the management team in matters of extreme urgency.
